AUDITION FOR SUMMER INTENSIVE PROGRAMS - Sunday March 25
TBBS will hold an audition for the Pre-professional Mini Intensive, the Junior August Intensive and the Pre-professional August Intensive.
Pre-registration is preferred - email us at info@brooklineballet.com or call 617.879.9988. Please bring a headshot and a full body ballet photo.
Audition fee: $20
12:30-1:30pm – Ages 10-13
2:00-3:30pm – Ages 14+

Pre-professional Mini Intensive (audition required) Ages 13 +, advanced students only A week-long program to prepare students for intensives later in the summer. Daily classes, including ballet technique and pointe, will be taught by directors Trinidad Vives and Parren Ballard.	June 18 - June 22 Monday–Friday 10:30am - 1:30pm $230
Junior August Intensive (audition required) Ages 10-13 This program is designed for serious ballet students who wish to maintain their level of technique through the summer. Our approach focuses on proper placement and pure ballet technique. Small class size allows faculty to offer individual attention. Classes will include ballet technique, repertoire/variations, and jazz, taught by TBBS faculty as well as guest faculty.	July 30 – August 10 Monday–Friday 9:30am - 12:30pm $610
Pre-professional August Intensive (audition required) Ages 13+ Our professional faculty provides the students with an opportunity to improve their abilities through a highly focused technical and artistic approach developed by directors Trinidad Vives and Parren Ballard. Daily classes include Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, Men’s Class, Pas de Deux, Contemporary, Pilates, Stretch and Dance History classes. The students learn variations from the classical repertoire as well as excerpts from contemporary ballets. During the program we offer master classes taught by guest teachers. The Intensive culminates with an in-studio showing for the advanced levels, where the students perform choreography they have learned throughout the program. We believe that this is a valuable experience for the students, and an exciting way to showcase the progress the students have made.	August 13 – August 24 Monday–Friday 10:30am - 3:00pm $720
Young Dancer’s Summer Ballet Ages 7-9 Young Dancer’s Summer Ballet will include a ballet technique class and a ballet related activity. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday. Summertime Ballet Adventures no prior ballet experience necessary Ages 5-7 This program is designed by Samia DeSimone for children interested in ballet. Each week is devoted to a different ballet story. The daily schedule consists of a ballet class, a ballet story, and other activities related to the story of the week. Students bring snacks and eat a packed lunch to conclude their day at the studio. Students may register for just one week or both weeks.
